The delta of the river Ebro

The Ebro Delta is the largest wetland in the western Mediterranean , after the Carmarga ( French Regional Park ) , and the second Spanish state after the DoƱana National Park . The delta is of international importance for 8 species of plants and 69 vertebrate fauna , most birds. Its value for birds is evident both in his role as breeding area with 95 nestlings species and in the wintering area , resting or feeding during migratory periods.
